Medical Services Guidelines
These guidelines do not replace the internal SOPs for your department. Please ensure to follow the operating procedures set forth by your agency command.
EMS Guidelines
1. EMS and Pillbox Guidelines
Chief of EMS Responsibilities
The Chief of EMS is responsible for developing and issuing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding vehicle use, ranks, and other operational protocols within EMS.
All EMS members must adhere to the SOPs issued by the Chief without exception.
Vehicle Usage
EMS vehicles must be used responsibly, reflecting realistic emergency service behavior.
A single EMS member on duty may use a faster vehicle if deemed necessary for prompt response, as specified by the Chief.
Professional Conduct
EMS personnel must maintain professionalism and respect during all interactions.
EMS uniforms are strictly forbidden while off duty.
2. Medical Treatment
Initial Assessment Upon arrival at a scene, EMS must assess injuries using
/me
commands, such as:/me is looking for visible injuries
/me checks for signs of bleeding or trauma
First Aid EMS should apply basic first aid at the scene:
/me applies bandages to the wound
/me stabilizes the injured area with a splint
Unresponsive Patients
If the injured player does not respond to
/me
commands, assume unconsciousness and transport to Pillbox for further care.
Transport Decisions
EMS members may determine the necessity of further treatment at Pillbox based on injury severity and roleplay responses.
Guiding Roleplay
EMS should lead treatment roleplay, including inquiries about medical history and deciding on appropriate care.
Medication Administration
Only legal medications may be prescribed or administered during treatment.
Detailed Roleplay Logging
Ensure all actions are documented using
/me
commands for clarity and realism.
3. Additional Guidelines for EMS
Emergency Prioritization
Emergency calls take priority over minor incidents unless no other emergencies are pending.
Neutrality and Boundaries
EMS is a neutral faction and must avoid engaging in law enforcement or criminal activities while on duty.
EMS personnel must not carry weapons unless specified by SOPs or in special scenarios.
Scene Safety
EMS must wait for police clearance before entering dangerous scenes (e.g., active shootings or hostage situations).
Handling Deceased Patients
In cases of death, roleplay notifying next-of-kin if possible and follow established protocols for body handling.
Unbiased Treatment
EMS must provide unbiased treatment to all players, including criminals, unless explicitly prevented by roleplay scenarios (e.g., being held hostage).
Vehicle Maintenance
Damaged EMS vehicles must be reported and repaired promptly to maintain operational readiness.
4. Training and Conduct
Training Requirements
New EMS recruits must complete training under the supervision of a senior EMS member or Field Training Officer (FTO).

EMS personnel must maintain professionalism at all times, respecting the roleplay of others.
EMS personnel are NOT allowed to ride along with players who are NOT EMS trained.
