Police Guidelines
These guidelines do not replace the internal SOPs for your department. Please ensure to follow the operating procedures set forth by your agency command.
Police Guidelines
1. Vehicle and Officer Limitations
Chief of Police Responsibility
The Chief of Police is responsible for developing and issuing SOPs regarding vehicle use, ranks, and behavior within the department. Exceptions may apply under special circumstances, provided they do not conflict with server rules.
Mandatory Adherence
All PD members must adhere to the SOPs issued by the Chief without exception, in alignment with Fusion RP guidelines.
Pursuit Vehicle Limitations
Motor Vehicle Pursuit: Maximum of 3 police vehicles may be involved.
Regular Bank Heist: Maximum of 4 police vehicles may respond.
Big Bank Heist: Maximum of 5 police vehicles may respond.
Interference by Criminal Vehicles
If criminal vehicles interfere or ram police units, 2 additional police vehicles may attach to the pursuit for the remainder of the scene.
Swapping of vehicles does not count as interference.
Scene Retention
The raised vehicle count remains even if the interfering criminal vehicles leave the scene.
Unlimited Units at Key Locations
Police numbers are uncapped at Pillbox, Bolingbrook, and Police Stations. This aligns with the server’s rules.
Air Support
Air One does not count toward the vehicle cap but must adhere to Fusion RP's engagement policies.
Special Operations
Up to 4 vehicles may be used for drug missions or prisoner transport in accordance with Fusion RP’s guidelines.
2. Situations for Elevated Aggression and Specific Limitations
Robberies Without Hostages
Police may escalate aggression levels if no hostages are present, in line with the value-of-life rule.
Taser Restrictions
Tasers cannot be used in water or wet conditions, as per server rules on realistic roleplay.
Tire Shooting
The use of firearms to shoot tires must comply with SOPs and server rules on use-of-force escalation.
Hostage Situations
Police must value a hostage's life and prioritize their safety in negotiations. This aligns with the server's emphasis on realistic and respectful RP.
Officer Safety
Officers must value their own lives and avoid unnecessary risks, adhering to fear RP principles.
Refusal of Immature Demands
Police may refuse immature or unrealistic demands during negotiations, promoting better RP.
Rule Breaks
Officers do not moderate rule breaks during RP but must report them through appropriate tickets as specified in Fusion RP rules.
Extended Punishments
Officers may extend or reduce time and fines based on penal codes, considering behavior, attitude, and crime severity, while avoiding powergaming.
3. Gang HQs and Special Situations
Realistic Treatment of Gang HQs
Gang HQs must be treated realistically, respecting their roleplay context and the server rules governing gang interactions.
Outnumbered Situations
Officers should avoid entering gang turf if they would be severely outnumbered and unable to de-escalate the situation, adhering to Fear RP principles.
Unlimited Resources at Key Locations
Police numbers and aggression levels are uncapped at Pillbox, Bolingbrook, and Police Stations, in compliance with server rules.
4. Identification and Evidence Standards
Suspect Identification
Police require evidence to charge a suspect.
Identification must be based on solid evidence and cannot rely solely on voice or clothing.
This aligns with Fusion RP’s guidelines for realistic roleplay.
